A beer shank is installed through a wall or a refrigerator door and connects to the faucet and the beer tubing. This beer shank has a 3/16 inch inside diameter bore and is made of 304 stainless steel. The length of the shank is 4 1/8". Since the tail piece and hex nut are separate this shank is more commonly used on chest freezers with collars.
